Special Educational Needs Transport
Young people who have an EHC plan will be entitled to travel assistance to attend sixth form or college, if:
- They are attending the nearest educational establishment that can meet their needs -The educational establishment is named in their EHC plan
- They live over the qualifying three-mile distance All travel assistance is provided subject to a financial contribution.

Post 16 Travel Scheme
The post16 travel scheme offers support to students who study at school sixth forms, sixth form colleges and further education colleges. There are differences in transport support and training when moving onto further education and support can be offered in many ways depending on eligibility. The TITAN Travel training team can offer support with training and advice for parents of young people moving onto Post 16 education in the future.
