  • Equal Lives

Equal Lives are a user-led disability rights organisation in Norfolk. They ensure that disabled peoples voices are heard, and create/develop the services that they need, and campaign to influence policy decisions and the law.

They offer work experience placements to disabled people looking to learn new skills or develop their existing skills. We are also able to support disabled people with joining or setting up local groups.

If you need information and advice, the team at Equal Lives can support you with this and ensure you get the right support for you.

Please use their website to take a look at what they offer.

  • Family Voice

Family Voice Norfolk is the parent carer forum for Norfolk. They work with (not for) the local authority, health and social services to improve services for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and their families.

They are not a support or information service, but communication is key to what they do. They listen to the experiences and wishes of families and make sure that those views are heard by those providing services, so that they can be part of every stage of planning and decision-making. Wherever possible, they aim to work in co-production.
