Welcome to Fred Nicholson School

Fred Nicholson School is a unique and vibrant community where staff, pupils, and families collaborate to create a happy, safe, and supportive learning environment. We are an educational setting dedicated to providing a caring, purposeful, and tailored curriculum that meets the complex needs of our children and young people.

Our commitment to “building for successful futures” is the guiding principle for everything we do. From the moment a child joins us, they embark on a journey towards becoming an independent and successful adult, supported in their engagement and learning. Our curriculum places a strong emphasis on all areas of development: cognition and learning, communication and interaction, sensory and physical health, and social, emotional, and mental well-being.

The school’s provision has been significantly enhanced by our move in April 2026 to a new, purpose-built school in Swaffham. This exciting development has allowed us to welcome Early Years and Key Stage 1 pupils and will provide more specialist facilities, enabling our curriculum to grow and evolve even further.
